"Happy Birthday Darling, it's your second birthday that we're together, although we had it tough with a long distance relationship, I am proud, happy and honored to have been with you this far. Through the thicks and the thins, through good and bad times. It wasn't easy for us, but I had no regrets. I wish we would be celebrating more birthdays together in the future.
When I think back about our relationship, it does feel like a fairytale. How I met you, how I fell for you and how we eventually get together. It does seem like god is playing a trick on us sometime, but if I recall correctly, when everytime we faces a problem, we always overcome them with love.
I still remember, and still kept vivid in my mind, the things you love, and the things you wish to do in your lifetime. Still remember how shocked you were when I told you I want to father 6 kids. Still smiling over the incident when I try to recall them. When we were apart, me miss each other really bad. When we're together, everything seems extra sweet. All relationships are bittersweet. But it felt like our relationship feel extra rich. Richer than most relationships. When we’re together it felt sweeter than most couples. But at the same time extra bitter when we faces differences.
Remembering when I 1st bought you flower, you kept laughing and giggling when you saw me, as if I wasn't embarrassed enough already by the big sunflower. Hahahaha. I was really embarrassed, but it's that moment, that's always buried deep inside my heart and mind. Even though we were on different side of the road, but I saw the most charming, beautiful and adorable smile and laugh that will never comes a day I’ll forger. Something I started to get addicted to. From the moment, I promised myself to give you that everyday, no matter what, but I guess things are much tougher than I really imagined. Although occasionally I had made you smile or laugh like that, but I still think I underperformed. It’s not easy, and the distant only made it harder. Bit nonetheless, I’ll still try.
Remember the time, when we went to see stars? It was a cloudy night and the stars were mostly blocked out of sight, but you had no complaint. In fact, you were so happy to see what little star you can see. You’re a girl who’s so down to earth, so simple and not hard to please. I knew from heart on that night that I had met a good, wonderful girl. It's that night that I prayed that you'd be with me forever.
Although we had been apart most times, but all those little things we did together, all the little things you did for me, are good enough evidences for me to tell myself that you’re worth it. Enough for me to know, that you’re the right one for me. No matter what you may say, or what other people may say, I knew I had made a right choice in you. Even though you’d be upset, angry, or having disputes with me, I could always look past all of these no matter how ridiculous they may sound, all of these are because of that I love you. I love you so much that I want to be with you forever, look past all your flaws, put up with all kinds of temper yo5u threw at me be it the cause of your temper be me or not or change myself for the better for you just because you want me to. For I know you’re worth everything and every effort I put in.
