that she don't know the impact of her sister being retrenched....... If its genuine retrench.... yes you can do nothing..... But is there a retrenchment package? Fight for the retrenchment package....... It would be useful to have that. It would help get through those days where she couldn't find a job...
If it's not genuine retrenchment, do you think the company wants her back? They are doing things to get her off the company..... obviously they are not going to get her back..... In this case, no matter what she won't have a job..... she needs to look for a new job..... Which is as good as mission impossible.... With no high education, no high profile in previous job, no significance contribution for the previous company or an impressive resume, only higher age and disability...... The company is being unethical in firing her. Company should be sued for being unethical..... Money can be used for hard times.... Cost of sue you can have the government agencies do it for you... or approach the social groups. They would know how to do it. Not to mention, her mom is an RC member. She can go through RC, or mass media.
Unless, she did something wrong and got herself fired...... and she lied to you that she got retrenched. Which shouldn't be the case as this type of cases usually have immediate effect.... Or she quit her own job and lied about being retrenched.....
So many possibilities..... so many ways.... yet she chose the most stupidest way to take full responsibility....
Getting the money is one issue.... preventing her from spending the money she'll get lavishly is another issue.....
I'm doing so much... because I think this issue is gonna affect us.... US..... No matter what I know it will affect us... but I hope it would be the minimum.....
